Museum: Dan's Custom Moe's Donut Shop (for your LEGO town)
$ 0.00
Currently sold outThis was another of Dan's first experiments in building custom LEGO® creations to sell on eBay way back in 2006, when he realized he had a ton of yellow & red bricks to use up! He used polymer clay to make the doughnuts, which was crazily time-intensive. It was a fun project but sold at auction for less than what Dan had hoped, considering the high part count & time involved creating it, so Dan learned a valuable lesson about scaling down the size of his creations to make them more easily built in quantity. Several years later Dan incorporated some of the same fun details into the design of his current Custom Donut Shop. Who knows if this one-of-a-kind Moe's Donuts set is still intact somewhere... Dan kinda doubts it, so this Museum of Past Projects is probably the only place this first design still exists!
